2006 Honda Accord engine turns, does not start

Dear Doctor: I have a 2006 Honda Accord with less than 50,000 miles. On three different occasions I turned the key and could hear the starter spinning, but the car did not start. On the second attempt the car started. For about two months the car was fine, but it recently started again. Thank you in advance for your expert opinion. Harry

Dear Harry: We need more information in order to find the source of the problem. It could be something as simple as a coolant sensor out of range, low fuel pressure or weak spark. Your car will need to go in for diagnostic service.
